There are several other print options including more and larger sizes, different types of papers, and framing and mounting selections that I can create for your specific needs. In addition to the typical fine art paper prints, other options include Vista prints and metal prints. Just give me a call or email me to discuss your needs. Limited edition prints are available up to a total of 50 prints across the different media described below.
Open Edition Photographic Prints. Printed on fine art archival paper using high quality pigment inks. If properly cared for, these prints will last in excess of 90 years.
Limited Edition Photographic Prints. Loose prints are available on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, the gold standard of archival quality printing paper that will last 90 years or more if properly cared for. It is beautifully light-reflective. Photographs printed on this paper are lustrous and elegant. These prints will be shipped to you ready for framing along with instructions for your framer.
Vista Prints. This is a beautiful way to display and preserve your. The photograph is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and then sealed to optical grade acrylic with a specially prepared aluminum substrate. The print comes ready to hang with a metal frame that makes it appear as if the photograph is floating off the wall. The Vista print can be easily cleaned and will last for decades while maintaining the lustrous colors and details that are characteristic of Fuji Crystal Archive paper prints.
Gallery Mounts. This is an excellent way to display and preserve your print. See the example below of a gallery mount. The photograph is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and then sealed onto a wood mount with beveled edges that is ready to hang. This is a gallery quality mounting process that creates a protective seal over the print, rather than glass. The wood and beveled edge also come in a variety of colors, woods and finishes. It can be easily cleaned and will last for decades while maintaining the lustrous colors and details characteristic of Fuji Archive Crystal paper.
Metal Prints. Are a relatively new art medium for preserving photographs by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight. As with the gallery mounts, metal prints come ready to hang.
Black PoolWest Thumb Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park, WY
The Black Pool is a beautifully colored spring that is intensely hot. I love the sharply defined colors created by the microbes that live in this extreme environment.
