The Portland Head Light is an iconic lighthouse built in 1791 and is still functioning as a navigation beacon for the Gulf of Maine. Dense morning fog completely obscured the lighthouse at dawn, but created this beautiful ethereal mist as the fog dissipated in the early morning light.
